Spent the last week either in bed or lounging suffering from a nasty bout of flu. So much for the flu jab. As a result I missed the Frensham M open and the M Ranking event at Lincoln which I heard was a great weekend.
So what else to do but make myself useful and put pen to paper.
There was the IOM survey to analyse and summarise ready for feeding back to the Council and the membership and a couple of other papers for the council to complete before next weeks meeting. On the back of the survey and recent drop in entry numbers, I wrote a paper on the current state of model yachting. Not sure what to do with that yet. We are planning a regularly rules paper describing a typical situation to help clarify those difficult situations that we get into. The first 3 are complete but being validated by some rules experts.
I am looking forward to getting out sailing again and Thursday looks like the first opportunity to get down to Gosport. There is the Scottish Nationals which I will attend if they will have me.
Hope you are getting lots of sailing in.
Nigel
