Thought for the day - A short trip

Took a short trip to Emsworth to test out the virus recovery. Pleased to report an improved performance but still some way to go. Racing was good and close all morning. The new mast worked well although was slightly off centre so had to adjust the shrouds when I got home. I now have my spare rig identical to the racing rig.

The highlight of the day was when the family of one of the sailors turned up to provide rousing support on his 70th birthday. It made for a great atmosphere.

Next weekend is Poole against Craig Richards again and Tony Edwards amongst others. This will be a good test to see if I have improved since last year.
